Mason Jar Salad

The Classic Breakfast Sandwich

Classic Breakfast Sandwich
• Ingredients:
• - 2 English muffins, split
• - 4 slices of bacon or ham
• - 4 large eggs
• - 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)
• - Salt and pepper, to taste

- Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, avocado, spinach, or hot sauce

Instructions:
• 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the English muffins on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven until lightly golden and crisp.
• 2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon or ham until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
• 3. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Cook to your desired doneness (fried, scrambled, or over-easy). If you prefer the yolks runny, cook them for about 2 minutes per side.
• 4. While the eggs are cooking, place a slice of cheese on each English muffin half. This will allow the cheese to melt slightly from the residual heat.
• 5. Once the eggs are cooked, assemble the sandwich by placing the bacon or ham on one English muffin half. Top it with the cooked egg, and add any additional toppings you desire, such as sliced tomatoes, avocado, spinach, or hot sauce.
• 6. Finally, place the other half of the English muffin on top to complete the sandwich.
